About Us

The Company

After the phenomenal Limca Book of Records success, Adventures Overland was founded as one of the first self-drive expedition company in India, specializing in organising epic expeditions all over India and abroad. Our expeditions are the stuff that dreams are made of! We are passionate about our self-drive expeditions and whether you decide to travel with us for a few days or a few months, our aim is to give you a genuine experience as you drive through magnificent and diverse scenery, soaking up the colourful local culture. Our trips give you ultimate freedom and flexibility - after all that it is what self-drive expeditions are about!

Tushar Agarwal (Expedition Leader, Travel Writer)

Tushar has spent the last 10 years traveling to more than 30 countries and driving in most of them. He has driven in most diverse terrains of the world including the highest mountains of China, Kyrgyzstan and Nepal; lonely deserts of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan; incredible Autobahns of Germany; nerve racking highways of Ukraine and Russia and the silky freeways of US and UK. He is also a Fellow at the Royal Geographic Society in London. Tushar has written a book titled "Road Affair" on his various driving expeditions and records. He is also a travel columnist at the "The Upper India Motorist" magazine.

Sanjay Madan (Expedition Leader, Off roading Expert)

Sanjay has been involved in all sorts of off roading events for a very long time. He understands the mechanics of a 4x4 very well and has a natural ability to lead expeditions. He has been an active participant and organizer of the most challenging rallies in India - Raid de Himalaya and The Desert Storm. He has led many expeditions to Ladakh and Rajasthan and is the first person to drive a Tata Nano to Khardung La Pass - the highest motorable road in the world.

D. Prasad (Creative Director)

Born and raised in Mumbai, Prasad is a complete nomad at heart. He started his professional journey as a copywriter only to transform into a correspondent with CNBC. His last stint was with Neo Sports as a promo producer, after which he chose a path less taken. He started on his own to explore the ‘Travel’ genre in Television programming. And that’s when the roads met. Today, Prasad is the creative hawk-eye of Adventures Overland and produces incredible expedition promos and travel videos on our journeys.

Ankur Pareek (IT Expert)

Ankur is the IT geek of the team. He is a core member of Adventures Overland from the day we started. Anything and everything that you see written about Adventures Overland team anywhere on the web, be it facebook, twitter, online articles etc. is done by him.
